I was really bad updating these pages the last couple of years. I can't remember much of the 2004 season anymore...at least specific events about individual races. Overall I did pretty well. I actually won another race this year. Well, I won a heat race this year but I never won a main. I trophied quite a few times also and I podiumed a couple of times too.
I came in 6th in Mod Production. This is the class that all the Derbi's GPRs and Senda's and Aprillia RS50's all race in. I also raced in Novice Mod50 where I finshed 7th but that was just another class I raced in just to get some extra track time.
My GPR ran pretty well but when I dropped it into turns I would get a slight hesitation when I got back on the gas. It blew my drives out of the corners but I don't think it had a profound effect on my overall placings in the races. It was just a bit annoying. As I write this 02/23/05 I am sending my carb into Team Calamari to have them dial my carb in. They've always been there form me when I raced YSRs and that's why they'll always get my business.
