Introduction

I started racing YSR 50s in 2001. I started this page as a place I to post pictures and jot down some race notes. I didn't expect it to be seen by so many people. I've received e-mails from people all over the world telling me how much they've enjoyed my web page.

I've always wanted to race. Racing minis gives me the opportunity to pretend to be a MotoGP star once a month during the season. I've met some great people and have made some life long friends. I've also had the opportunity to race against upcoming talent. Some of the kids I've raced with in the past now race in the AMA. Current MotoGP racers like Nicky Hayden, John Hopkins, and Kenny Roberts Jr. started out by racing YSRs.

I've also used racing to improve my street riding skills. It's a cheap track day that keeps my skills sharp. I can race in 2 classes for about $65.00. I can go to a Monday practice day and get as much track time as I want for $20.00. While it's not a replacement for a $200.00 track day on my big bike, it reinforces all the skills I need to survive on the street or on the big track. I'm a better and safer street rider because of mini racing. Taking my aggression out to the track keeps me from being stupid on the street.

I accidentally deleted my 2001 to 2003 race diary. Luckily I printed them up before they got deleted.

Stay tuned for more updates.
